I've finally got it
After several emails back and forth with Matt, I finally learned how to post on here! :) You'd think with me being 19 I'd know all this computer stuff! Our time is getting so close and I personally feel so unprepared. I haven't started my packing list because I have no idea what I need! I suppose that is why we are making our packing lists, huh? I'd just like to ask everyone for their prayers. I'm sure others of us are getting the jitters about going and whether they be excited jitters or nervous jitters the need to be God focused jitters.

You did it, way to go! Cast your fears on to Jesus. All is well. Yep bring your packing list on Sunday, we'll cover it. Also the list in the manual starting on page 64 is a good one, but we'll add a few additional things. See you Sunday.
Awesome post Mindy! Thanks for sharing! See you Sunday!

Don't lose heart; I'm 63, and I know
just enough computer stuff to be dangerous! Jitters are a phenomena the whole team is probably experiencing by now. We are stepping into the unknown.......most of us..........and we are doing this by faith. Walking by faith is exciting
stuff!! I want you to know that I am
deeply impressed by your willingness to participate in this
outreach opportunity. It tells me
that you have "guts," and maturity
way beyond 19 years of age. Your
willingness to do this is very challenging and encouraging to the entire Team. Be assured that we will all be "looking out for you."
The video that your mind records during your time in Peru will replay over and over again, and the things you experience now will, fifty years from now, seem
like yesterday. God WILL use you
and your special gifts to bless the people of La Merced, and they
will always remember you with great fondness and love.
